Power Controllers announces the extended availability of the high-performance mission critical GCU-0012 (Generator Controller Unit) to several markets to include aerospace, space, genset, and railway.

The GCU-0012 is a fully qualified solid-state field drive controller designed for rugged low voltage power generation systems in extreme environments. Power Controllers’ patented power control methodologies provide flexible and dynamic switching strategies for the most complex generation systems and have been in production for the last several years with the U.S. Army’s M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank program.
The GCU-0012 is designed with modular electronics and software for easy customization and integration into virtually any power system architecture.
